Plantr – Houseplant Matching App Prototype

During the COVID-19 lockdown, I led the design and prototyping of Plantr, an app aimed at helping people find the perfect houseplant while providing them with all the care information they needed to keep their plants thriving. To make the experience engaging, my team and I gamified the plant selection process, developing a Tinder-like swipe interface that matched users with plants based on their lifestyle, environment, and care preferences.

Working collaboratively, we created a fully clickable and swipeable prototype, ensuring a seamless user experience from plant discovery to personalized care tips. Plantr not only made plant ownership more accessible and fun but also served as a digital companion for plant care, fostering a deeper connection between users and their indoor greenery during a time of isolation.
